Privacy

Hortus Soni is built for school use. The rule is simple: nothing about students leaves the Mac.

No accounts or sign-in.
No student names are entered into the app for grading; teachers can use seat numbers they keep privately.
No analytics, crash-report phones-home, or advertising.
No cloud sync of student work.
A microphone is not required. If voice input is added later, it will run only on the device and will not record, save, or send audio.
